had "attended" 6 weddings over the weekends....it's super tiring!!! on sunday i even have to work full shift because got a noon wedding and 2 dinner weddings *SWEAT* however i did receive a few ang baos from some couples..usually i dun get to get ang baos because i will leave before the dinner end unless the couple come back another day to give me personally...so im quite surprised when i received the ang baos from my ops manager!!! luckily he never "cope" my ang baos but now everyone knows already and keep asking me to treat!!! plus i just gotten my confirmation letter and everyone is really anticipating me to give them a treat WAAAAAA my ops manager now increase his bet for having me not to laugh for one whole day (previously he betting $50) coz he thinks it's quite an impossible mission for me not to laugh -_-""" whahaa
anyway just to share with you guys one of the recent weddings which makes me feel angry!!!! not angry but just not happy to entertain them =p the couple is very young...the pair whom only booked the bandquet earlier this month (think i mentioned abt them in one of my entries) so the first thing the bride came in already make alot of noise....they came very late!! but luckily she already in her gown and fully make-up...after her ROM ceremony instead of staying inside the bridal room, she went to the carpark and smoke with her friends!! i was like "DANNG!!" the bride's parents didnt even come to the reception area to received guests...and later i realised a lady in jeans is actually her mother!! she's the first parent i saw who dressed so casually for a daughter's wedding.....*sadx* the groom also keep going out to smoke, want to tell him anything i have to wait for him to smoke finish (if not my lungs will be blackened double over the few hours) the best thing was the couple smoked inside my bridal room!!! i almost choked when i opened the door (to ask them stand-by for march-in) i so wanted to scold them!!! to ROAR!!! (anyway they are younger than me) my colleague said she smoked so much like wanting to kill the baby inside her =\ halfway through the photo-shooting the bride don't know what happen suddenly mood change then went to sit down, say don't want to take pictures le...ask the groom go take himself *pengz!!* she really very childish!!! cannot stand her!!! can see the parents face really "blackened" my manager ask me to go persuade her then i reply don't want, i scared later i cant stand her will ended up scold her haaaa the bride never smile for the rest of the photo-shooting =/

celebrated hung's bday today (= the usual gang me, leen, desmond, jon & hung...hydro went for his committee's bbq and din join us!!! see a bbq cant compare to 8-yrs of friendship =p anyway we have dinner at pasta de waraku @ clarke quay....the food is nice though abit expensive in relative to the serving portion...a stuff dropped a plate on our table and we got compensated 2 ice-creams on top of a chocolate fudge cake i had bought in for dessert!!! waaaa from just nice full become very full lolx~~~ as much as i thought everyone in our group knows about me & hydro, jon is still in his own world...haaa the most funny thing is when he asked who is hydro's gf and everyone already pointing at me he still can ask me somemore (think he thought me & hydro very close and probably know who's the gal) haaa cant stop laughing after that =p after awhile he commented that he still cant believe hydro is his "son-in-law" (coz i used to call jon lao pa!) =p

i haven been sitting down comfortably since i started working today...now my feet finally can have a good rest....
glad everything went smoothly today....i have 4 events going on this evening...2 weddings of my favourite couples, one 95yrs birthday celebration, and an alumni gathering....my main focus is to take care of my these 2 couples, thatz all [= no matter how troublesome they are...how last many changes they wanna make i do it all for them [= thinking that this is the last time im gonna see them and do these things for them makes me feel kinda sad....because of them i forgot to take my dinner and i still went out to but dinner for them coz they so hungry after rushing here & there.... as a result i got "scolded" by my manager because she said it's not my job to do this...but i believe it's my job to give my best for my couple...even if it's out of my job scope...right right?? i was taught on the island never say NO to guests!!! (= she whole noon sit in the office eat & read newspaper...i dun even bother about her =p got something from one of the couple...it's actually their door-gift for their guests [=

this noon i closed a deal very easily!! so easy i cant believe it...this couple just walked in and asked if the date (next year's mid-autumn festival) still available anot...i said still available and go and show them the ballroom...introduce them this & that in a very casual manner (because they seems uninterested and i have other things to busy with) they didnt even have much question to ask...the guy just keep asking the girl how how want anot....the girl say okie! then he straight away give me his credit card and wanna place deposit already...i was stunned! straight i have to go office and prepare the agreement...even my manager also shocked why talk so fast then place deposit already....she thought i give away alot of perks but i didnt even mentioned any perks yet! i just introduce the ballroom only yea...haaaa ^^ because they so undemanding i actually gave them free food-tasting even though they dun have 30tables...only like this they were so grateful....other couples i offered so many perks to them still not enough and want somemore -_-"" somehow i feel appreciated and was feeling guilty for the attitude i gave them earlier on... =p
i was very busy for tonight's wedding...got 2 weddings...using the same entrance so i have to somehow guess whoever came in belong to which couple....if people come in and look blur means they belong to the couple in VIP room (around 8 tables only) so i have to bring them in so they won't mixed with the main ballroom's guest, if people come in recognise the parents at reception area means they belong to the big ballroom (60tables) see the difference?? bigger banquet gt more advantage....the groom suddenly went blank before their first march-in...luckily he never faint...if not i die...he keep asking me how how?? what to do...all i have to say is to reassure him and follow what i told him to do....2nd march in is champagne pouring...and i think the couple hold the bottle too low and hit the top glass...causing the champagne glasses to topple...i stunned for one second! then i have to quickly pick up the broken glasses on the table first...then ask them to continue pouring the rest of the glasses first.... still have to pick up glasses on the stage floor & wipe dry in case later the couple slipped....i hurt one of my fingers when picking up the glasses..i didnt even know till i see got blood on the floor...i thought the couple's got hurt but luckily it's me...waaa if not really bad omen....hope they have a happy marriage after 8yrs of dating since poly!! [=
i have a little fantasy for my own wedding....its has to be something simple yet special and personalized...my whole wedding concept should be able to suit the character of me & my other half...so friends who attend our wedding will have the impression that the whole thing is so US!! hee of coz i will be my own wedding planner yea [=
i have a few places in place for my solemnisation...first in mind will be at fort siloso!!!! either at siloso point or 6-inch blooming gun area or outside QM....fort tram can be my "bridal car" heee...after the solemnization then will have a buffet-style lunch at siloso beach...it will be a beachy affair where can play beach vball, frisbee and stuff...at night can go cafe del mar!~!!!
another place in mind is at changi chapel...i like the atmosphere...the serenity of the place...if not can be at toy museum!!! heee

let's hear something funny....i have a couple whose wedding is this sunday (this sunday is my 2 favourite couples' wedding! im glad i work late this week [=) anyway they are here to test the PA system...their wedding montage do till very nice!! got cartoon and stuff...just that the background music i think pirated one...keep skipping so i suggest they choose another song & play in another player better....my senior manager was there to KPO then come tell me their montage quite nice, i agreed with him...then he went to tell the couple im getting married soon and asked them to recommend their photographer to me! DAANG!!!! the couple so excited and started talking about it....in order not to spoil their mood and i have to act enthu listening to them -_-""" to my surprise they actually have alot of complaints against their wedding studio....have to wait very long for them to develop the photos, the photographer very fierce...then they keep have to pay extra costs and very limited gowns for them to choose from.... seems like its so tiring to get married.... anyway it's really interesting listening to them...learnt alot from them haaaaa but my whole afternoon was spent on them and still got so many pending stuff waiting for me to do!!! thanks to my "kind" manager!!
din even sit for long to enjoy my dinner then another couple came...this couple quite troublesome...no i should say the groom is okay but the wife is really really very ma fan!!! they are here just to tell me they wanna upgrade their menu and increase number of tables (they choose the most expensive menu nehz) they wanted to print more invitation cards since their number of guests increased....by right usually we will charge for extra printing of cards...but since they increase their number of tables & also chose the most expensive menu, i intended to print for them FOC...however yesterday im off mahz...then i guess they called in and my manager picked up..and she wanted to charge them & dunno how she & the bride-to-be started to turn nasty...they wanted to see who's my manager but luckily she took half-day off if not i dunno what will happen haaa...they requested me to be there on their wedding cause they already dun like my manager...DAANG!!! i can only say usually it's boss arrangement one...haaa

went to NUS to wait for hydro finish school, also at the same time explore the campus hee..it's so fortunate to be a student!! food is so cheap haaa... after that went wheelock's coffee bean for a drink...actually is accompany him to study & do his tutorial...while me can read my own books also... i like this kinda moments being together [= eventually i went to borders for quite some time...by the time i came out he already finish his stuff and was looking into blank space...haaa think i must have went in for very long time...and i already bought one book....there's so many books i wanna buy...but must control $$$ =\ bought a wallet for myself at far east...he said i shld change take a less kiddish wallet but that's my style!! i like cute stuff so i ended buying a kiddish wallet haaaa
walked to The Cathay wanted to catch a movie but seems like no nice movie to watch...so ended up went to shop around at PS...ended up i bought the comics series of "Romance of the Three Kingdom" haaa....i being aiming to buy for 2 months le...spent quite alot on books today....BUT i like the time spent with him (= it's the first time we went out for so long since we started dating yea...so can imagine how busy we are....haa luckily he's not staying hall...if not i think it's even harder for us to meet up...

last week there's a couple came to book our restaurant for their wedding...guess when's their wedding??itz end of this month!!! yeaps as expected it's a shot-gun marriage....so they are coming down tomorrow for food tasting and to collect their invitation cards (usually the process of printing invitation cards takes around 3 weeks, so imagining how rush things are and i really have to try very hard talk to my supplier). this morning my supplier called me to say the invitation cards model they chose got no stock!!!! DAANG!!!! winz.... i have to call the couple, kena scolded abit, send my invitation cards models to office to ask them scan for me & send email to the couple for them to choose again, which i kena naggings abit....den i call my supplier and ask him to die die must send the invitation cards to me by tomorrow!!!! i really must pray hard hard tonight....

oh ya forgot to update about the couple who called off their wedding....they actually wrote in an email saying that the groom-to-be lost his memory months ago due to an accident, that's why they cant hold the wedding anymore...sad right...but thinking back...when i asked them to do invitation cards, they never mentioned this to me...*sigh* anyway i already washed my hands off this matter...i didnt even see them before...haaa
okie, went for army half marathon with hydro on 24th aug...only ran for the 10km and i realised i can outrun most of the army guys...haaa partly because they joined the non-competitive run which i dun understand why...timing for this run is 1hr 17mins....the route is kinda bad....some turning too narrow and thus causing congestion..especially the last 500m where you suppose to chiong all the way but half way have to slow down due to the narrow path -_-""" and the holding area was so muddy after a night's rain...my poor new shoes.....hydro suppose to fix my comp after the run but i still need to rush to work so postphone to next day....
25th aug my off day! have to wake up early to "fetch" hydro to my house so as to fix my comp...treat him mac for breakfast as compensation haaa...but eventually my comp still cant be fixed so i need to do backup and he needs to come back another day to help me format my comp heee...later that day i met up with my oppa!!! he came all the way from KL to celebrate his gf bday...how sweet can a guy be yea... [= after that went to clarke quay to colloect my race pack for nike run!! luckily no queue at all ^_^ i heard from des that they went on sunday and they waited for 10am+ to 2pm+ just to collect their race pack haaaa wanted to go repair my adidas watch at town but raining so ended up i went home le...so till now i haven got time to go send my watch for repair ]= now im wearing hydro white adidas watch =p
31st aug is the nike run!! gotten half-day off and everyone was so envy of me...coz itz a busy day and there's a wedding...im kinda upset coz it's one of my favourite couple's wedding = but nvm i still enjoying the run...so many many people....wow the cityhall mrt station is full of people wearing red! luckily des wore blue so can spot him quite easily haa...nevetheless i still able to spot eug even tho he's wearing his red puma jacket haaa!! so surprise and happy to see him (= he still look tired since the last time i saw him at zouk...school life must be very busy for him yea...jonathan also another one...so busy with school wrk that he decided not to run...sobx!!! ended up only me, des & hung running...hydro din even sign up! hummpf! anyway i saw JY, serene & shawn and even albert!!! so happy to see him haaa...we both scream when we saw each other during the run lolx [= after that we went to watch cyborg she...surprisingly it's a nice show haaa if not im gonna kill hung =p
it's so nice to catch up with daddy & booby ^^ i miss island life = sometimes....i wonder if i can go back to attractions one day....i really love the job...
