things which i dun wish to happen eventually happened....
i have a young couple who supposed to hold their wedding bandquet next month, wanted to cancel it now!! oh my...so sad right =/ one month before when i started calling them to get their particulars for invitation cards, they still ok, just that they keep delaying firstly due to some family problem, and the groom-to-be is outstationed. so i waited for a week + and started calling them up again...this time the groom-to-be phone cant get through, so i thought he still overseas and i called the bride-to-be and she said her "husband" will send it to me soon..so i waited and waited and waited...everytime i called she always said tomorrow...so until yesterday i cant contact the bride-to-be le...it's aldy less than a month to their wedding and nothing is done...i called their house and the worst that i got is to know that the groom-to-be parents don't even know their son is getting married!!! very stunned, i decided that i shld let my manager handle... both my managers also got scolded and started to quarrel with the parents...because to cancel a bandquet less than 3 months notice, the couple will have to bear the full cost of the bandquet whether they are holding or not...( so you guys don't anyhow book a venue for bandquet without considering properly!)
so after talking to the parents, the groom-to-be and bride-to-be eventually called us up...the groom wanted to postphone the wedding bandquet, however the bride wanted to cancel it...i have no idea what's going on with them, but i can only ask them to cool down and discuss and let us know by night....so by night we still haven got their phone call, so my manager called them up, guess they must have quarrlled because the groom-to-be already left the house, and the bride was very piss off that she wanted to cancel the wedding.... SIGH....
this morning wanted to call up the groom to confirm the cancellation and realised they have cancelled their house's phone line! DAANG!!!! informed the boss and we all got scolded....sianz.... now waiting for office to issue letter to them see what happen...
i went down to the rubbish chute to dig out my AHM number tag and chip :S
how blur can i be....i actually threw the whole chunk of vouchers away together with my number tag, keeping only the t-shirt....only half-hour ago i realised something is missing....
bringing my tourchlight & two plastic bags, i went to open up the rubbish chute...first thing i shone on is cockroaches....lots and lots of them!!! for a moment i stood there thinking if i should do it...thinking of the run and to pay 50bucks for lost chip i decided to give it a go...i hold the tourch with my mouth (to avoid me from screaming out as well) and worn the plastic bags as gloves...pulling out the bin i really wanted to vomit out....luckily i no need to dig to deep to find the number tag...luckily everything is inside a sealed bag....luckily i found it....
i quickily ran back & bathe....oh my...it's too disgusting.....and i still wondering how i managed to do this.....
haaa to make up what i've missed last night...yeah last night zouk is having a pre-bash party at zouk and eug is involved in the pageant [= was supposed to go and cheer for him but finish work late...so by the time reached there can only take pix with him haaa

met up at 9am at tampines to have breakfast at mac... then we proceed to our first destination - changi chapel museum and johore battery.... spent around 2hrs+ there to experience the "war aura" even though it's my 2nd time there, im still not getting bored of it [= after which we went to changi village to have our lunch.... took an hour+ bus journey to our 2nd destination - the battle box... by the time we reached there just nice last tour of the day.... thankful that this time the surrender room got no technical fault (the last time i went i have to miss this most crucial part due to technical fault) and the guide still recognized me!!!! haaa though he's old but memory still quite good yea [=

just reached home not long ago.... today my restaurant got pray pray for the 7th-month (it's a custom for every chinese restaurant to do that), so being first-timer, i stayed back after work to see what they do...
there's an auspicious time to pray... and our auspicious timing is 12am!!! so to kill time, the chefs start gambling among themselves, whereas the rest of us (the younger ones) start to sing k at the VIP room (= (yeah! our VIP room got k-system nehz) but mostly old songs....haaaaa
12am sharp the praying start...so we went outside to the "balcony" area to start lighting up candles & joss sticks... main chefs & manager will be the one lighting up very huge joss sticks with dragon's carving... everyone seems quite busy walking around and i just stood there to see what they doing... i was given a bunch of joss sticks and were suppose to go round the restaurant and place 3 sticks at certain spots where a can was being placed... sounds like treasure hunt haaaa.... after praying there's a feast for us.... and we continue our entertainment till 2am... some went home, some just slept inside the restaurant....
tomorrow still have to wake up super early... guess i no need to sleep le.....

so tired after moving so many many things....i realised my stuff can be equal to 3 people moving house....*phew*
now im using the imac to blog...trying to explore it...nevertheless i bought my desktop here as well in case i cant work well with this imac....the screen really super big and the keyboard is small...haaaa

waaa today is a very very busy day...first thing i walked into the office was to answer phone calls for reservations...till i got no time to change my uniform...i even gotten scolded by some customers over the phone because i had to stop taking in reservation due to full house & also for the benefits of our dim sum shifu...they were like "huh! your restaurant so big how can full house! i want talk to your manager!" as if talking to my manager the restaurant will expand bigger...tootz -_-""
nevertheless nothing is gonna upset me coz im so looking forward to end my work at 6pm!! lucky me to finish work early even though itz public holidays ^^
met up with hydro to have dinner at lao pa sat then go marina square there to watch fireworks...asked him to wear red ended up he wore turquoise polo tee which same colour as my dress!!! we cant stop laughing after seeing each other like that *daang* after fireworks went to met up with his new NUS friends and they all thought im his girlfriend due to our "couple" outfit...double daang!! but he intro me as his sister so from "couple" became "siblings" outfit haaaa supposed to watch movie after that but too late...so ended up we went home...
ooh...he got a friend that look like ernie!!! kinda cute though ^_*

got a wedding tonight...even though it's 7th-month festival, there are couples choose to get married on this day...unfortunately, this pair of couple is the most troublesome pair i ever met...no wonder they are together =p they have the longest solemnization i ever encountered, which lasted for almost half an hour with all the singing and stuff...anyway they are christians, so apart from the muslims, i assumed everyone there are mostly from their church....anyway im glad they finally hold their wedding dinner, so do all others feel...we no longer need to entertain them le *yeah!*

i been off for the past two days, yesterday and today....one is off day, the other is claim PH (national day)
yesterday's noon met up with hydro & his three other friends to eat dim sum buffet at Rivercity heee....he finally ORD lorz!!! but immediately he has to start uni life...no time to rest, poor him....later in the afternoon i went shopping around to find running shoes, after around 2hrs+ at Queensway, i finally bought a new balance running shoes ^_^
evening went to meet up with my mum to have dinner at amk hub...then went to shop shop around...waaa amk hub really very very huge!!!! can fight with vivocity!!! the fairprice extra really extra large!!! so many many people...walk till i feel very dizzy...haaaa after that she asked if i wanna stay overnight at her place anot so i say ok (if not she will have to send me back to tampines) her house is just opposite amk sec...she has a furniture shop at ground level then 2nd level the house...so cosy!!! the first thing i saw in the living room is a big piano!! waaa so shocked....kitchen got a big fish!! i mean very big!!! the moment i look closer it jumped up, scared me...she said he dunno me thatz why...haaa...went inside the bedroom, got an apple imac!!! waaaaa impressive!!!! imac lehz!!!!! if samuel & eugene know this they probably very jealous haaaa...but i have an evil thought: why not vaio lappy...*slap myself* anyway, after showering, i try to explore the imac..it took me like 15mins to on the thing coz it doesnt have a CPU!!!!! so i have to keep looking up & down to find the "on" button.... guess im too noobs & old for these high-tech thingy....haaa cant stop laughing at myself...anyway i look at the big screen...dun know wat to do with it....the screen super big...the icons so alien to me...cant even find the internet explorer icon (which i later discovered itz actually known as "safari") after staring for awhile, i decided to off it (which took me another 10mins to find the "shut down" label) -_-"""" went to read my books till i fell asleep...
this morning i woke up, ate wholemeal bread and two half-boiled eggs....went down to the shop to have a look...daang!!! so many many things!!!! can play hide & seek inside the shop lahz!! hide under tables, inside cupboards...haaa....she has a small "garden" at the back door, where she planted pots of different herbs....interesting...maybe one day ask her plant sunflower for me heeee...she said i can choose my bed, wardrobe, cupboard and so on...hmmm.....anyway later in the afternoon she asked if i wanna follow her go deliver some furniture & go to her factory....waaaa she got a factory!!!! so i followed since nothing to do also....she asked if i got my driving license, so i replied yeaps! and she handed me the keys to let me drive her pick-up!!! i was stunned!!!!! haaaaa i cant stop laughing while driving..maybe over-excited [= at night i followed her to attend some 7th-month dinner...waaaa that place is worst than fort!!!! so many many mozzies attack me....so many uncles and aunties...so noisy....so dizzy....zzzzz

i just got a new name given by my senior manager: kai xin guo (literally translate means happy nut) haa...so now most of them started calling me that (= he told a joke in the morning saying that if one day i started crying or never smile the restaurant will close down...then he thought for awhile and said "nono!! even if the restaurant closed down, she will still be laughing and smiling away" lolx...thatz makes me really laughing out loud!!! i love my senior manager for that...his funny sayings & he looks like a teddy bear!! i mean really a big and happy teddy bear (=
im really being a good girl and didnt run at all..instead i started taking morning walk around bedok reservoir...sounds like those what the elders are doing...yeaps that's what im doing for the past few days...walking to take in fresh air...hopefully can make my lungs feel healthier & stronger (=
there's a books' sale at harbourfront outside cold storage...i had already aimed some books i wanted to buy, waiting for payday to come!!! nowadays i got a fetish of buying books...instead i dun even feel interested in buying clothes & dresses...maybe i feel that i dun have the time to wear them...but books makes me feel more worth-spending at...the worst is im already so broke yet i rather buy books than eating -_-""' my collection of books on my bed are increasing...now im not only sleep with all the soft-toys i have, i also sleep with piles of books....i dun even have time to read them yet i keep buying them...haaa now im reading 3 different books - one at workplace for my free time, one for me to kill time when travelling, and one before bed-time....i really need a bigger cupboard to keep all my books!! soon...soon i probably have my own mini library (=
and and there's a taiwanese food fair outside cheers as well....some food quite interesting and not bad too!! try the taiwan egg crepes and mochi!!!! i think these are nice [=
