i've never been so busy since i started work...and so crazy over work!!! -_- my whole afternoon is a like a war today =\
first i have a couple suddenly dropped by to choose their invitation cards and some adjustments for their wedding....then came the guys from the army who had a function tonight to do the set up...ok that side my manager handling them...after i finish for my couple, she came and ask me to help them with the PA system which i din know what they want to do with it!! they brought in lotsa cables, wires, video cam and trying to plug in and out whichever holes they can find...daang!!!!! and then came the couple whose wedding was on last saturday to settle their outstanding bills...and to collect back their wine balance...ok im busy enough...THEN the army side ask about their red & white wines, so my manager came to ask me if i have received any wines anot...i replied nope...thatz where the chaotic part came...after calling the supplier, we realised the person who accepted the wines was another manager, my manager's "enemy" (let's call him E)
the story goes like this: on last friday, there are two deliveries of wines from different suppliers. one is for the wedding on saturaday, the other is suppose to be for the army function but the invoice did not state anything. so E accepted both invoices and assumed that both belong to the wedding on saturday. so on the saturday night, the unknown wines were opened up to serve the guests and left with a balance of 18 bottles, whereas the wines that confirmed belonging to the couples left unopened. so the couples today happily took all the wine home. only then we realised there's such a huge mistake!!!
being so angry, my manager refused to talk to E so i become their "middle-girl" so i have to called E to check if he really accepted the wines on friday and stuff, then i have to call the saturday's groom to come back and return us the wine...and negotiate to have a swap since they already drank most of the wines that belong to the army...i feel so so sorry...and i have to keep apologising to the groom for the trouble of coming down again...to make me feel worst, he even gave me an ang bao and apologised to me for making such a trouble because he should have checked properly for the supplier before taking the wines....
im glad everything was solved before the function began...and because of this i cant go running today...it's being almost a week since i last ran...waaaa im afraid i wun be able to make it for sunday's mizuno run =\...
